Restorative: A therapeutic approach to yoga which involves deep, sustained stretches. Most postures are practiced with a supportive prop such as a block or bolsters to assist with deeper relaxation of the muscles.
Hatha Yoga: Imesia offers Moksha Yoga classes that incorporate props, music and mindful reminders of space, choice and play
Vinyasa: Imesia teaches Moksha Flow, a flowing practice that heats and challenges the body while incorporating more challenging postures.
Meditation: Imesia leads meditation which includes seated posture points and guided instruction on finding stillness and a heightened mind/body awareness.
I teach kids and deliver workshops for children ages ranging from 4 to 12 years of age. I am a certified kids yoga teacher through Young Yoga Masters.
